DIFFERENCES BETWEEN MASS AND WHEY PROTEIN

💪BASIC INFORMATION💪

According to Jacques Cellier, one of the basis differences between mass gainers and whey protein is the number of calories you can gain from each one. Typically, whey protein contains about 100 to 150 calories per serving while mass gainer gives one a whopping 1250 to 1500 calorie per serving. Often referred as the weight gainers, a mass gainer will provide users with way more calories as it features high quantities of fats and carbs. For example every serving of mass gainer provides double as many carbs as it does protein. Most of the calories made available from mass gainers comes from the carbs that consist of a mixture of glucose and maltose. If you want to build your body and achieve a lot of bulk, then mass gainers might be a better option. Unfortunately, it will lead to insulin spike and ultimately stores unwanted fat into your body. Instead, if your option for whey protein supplements, then your body will only be fueled with what it needs, namely pure protein. If you are keen to increase strength and build muscle without the bulk, then whey protein is a better option.

Function of each protein:-

Mass Gainer -
Mass gainers rapidly develop body mass, making it a suitable way to gain weight fast. Mass gainers provide a healthy mix of vitamins and minerals to keep your body nourished. Skinny people who struggle to gain weight, no matter what they try, will benefit from mass gainers as it boosts calorie intake and adds weight to their bodies in a healthier manner.

Whey Protein - Whey protein reduces weight and builds lean muscle while it increases stamina and serves as a source of energy. Whey protein reduces the risks of diabetes and blood pressure. When you consume whey protein, the rich amino acid properties will stimulate new muscle tissue growth.
